'La Maison Neuve' is a traditional Anjou farmhouse, built in the mid 19th century out of the local tuffeau stone. The adjoining two-storey french gite 'Mon Reve' has been comfortably renovated into a modern self catering holiday gite with a large holiday swimming pool which can accommodate up to six persons plus 1 baby. The french holiday gite is set in gently rolling countryside on the outskirts of the famous forest of 'le Chandelais'.

The first floor is accessed via outside stairs leading to a small terrace offering spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. On the upstairs floor you will find a very spacious room with a tastefully furnished kitchen area, a dining/sitting area, a double bedroom and a shower room with WC facilities.

Also available are books, CDs, DVD/CD player, flat screen TV with free to view UK channels.

The kitchen offers all modern facilities including a gas cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine, fridge/freezer and various other utensils.

On the ground floor you will find two double bedrooms which are independently accessed through French doors opening onto the holiday gite garden. One of those rooms offers twin beds and the other a double bed. Either room is equipped with its own shower/toilet facilities.

In addition a baby cot can be available on request at no extra charge.

All bed linen and bathroom towels are supplied, replaced on a weekly basis free of charge. The property is heated throughout at no extra cost.

About one acre of landscaped gardens overlooks beautiful countryside views. Your garden in front of the holiday gite is adorned with a very pleasant shallow ornamental fishpond and mature trees, making it an ideal setting for barbecuing.

The self catering holiday gite is hedged with various fruit trees, abounding with cherries and plums when in season. You are very welcome to help yourselves to the fruit!

There is also a large holiday swimming pool with a 'plage' dotted with sun loungers and benches. The pool area, surrounded by young trees and fragrant flowery shrubs, offers lovely views of the countryside. The pool is also floodlit to create a special evening atmosphere.

You may decide to spend your evenings cooking on the bbq, playing a game of 'boules' then just sitting back, relaxing while sampling the local wines… As we have very little pollution in the area, you will be able to experience some breath-taking sun sets as this is a magical place for sky watchers, making it ideal for watching stars and planets.

One of the barns has also been converted into a games room where you can play table tennis, darts and various other games. Bikes are also available.

Swimming pool details: L 12m x W 6m x Depth of water 1.4m approx. Please note the pool has been enclosed for your privacy and for safety reasons. The pool gate should be kept shut at all times. We advise for children to be supervised by an adult at all times when within the pool compound. Diving is prohibited. Thank you for your co-operation.
