1. Your booking
Once you have made a provisional reservation with us, we require
you to complete our booking form. This must be signed by the first
named person on the booking form (the party leader), who must
be at least 18. All correspondence is sent to the party leader
who is responsible to us for all payments in respect of the booking.
Confirmation of your accommodation booking will be sent to you
via e-mail or post within two weeks of receiving your booking
form and deposit.
2. Payment
A deposit of £100 of the total of your accommodation rental
must be paid at the time of booking. If you book within eight
weeks of departure the full amount is due immediately. The balance
of your holiday cost is due not less than eight weeks prior to
departure. This date will be shown on the confirmation invoice.
If all payments due are not paid in full and on time, we reserve
the right to treat your holiday as cancelled by you and retain
the deposit held. You will also be required to pay the cancellation
charges as specified in clause 4.
3. Your holiday
accommodation
This is reserved exclusively for the people named on the confirmation
invoice and no other persons whatsoever are permitted to stay
there unless this has been agreed with us in writing and appropriate
payments made. Local communities expect certain standards of behaviour;
clients are required to observe them. You must vacate the property
during the morning on the day of departure to enable cleaning
and preparation to be completed prior to the arrival of new guests.
This is normally 10am.
Should you be
responsible for any breakages/damages/loss of any items during
your stay and/or any extra cleaning deemed necessary to put the
holiday accomodation back to an acceptable condition, a charge
will be made locally or be deducted from your security deposit.
The amount to be deducted will be at the owners discretion depending
on each individual case. In extreme cases we also reserve the
right not to refund any monies.
4. If you
cancel your holiday
Further to clause 2, if you or any member of your party cancels
the booking, this must be done in writing by the party leader
and sent by registered post. All cancellations are subject to
a charge payable by you. This is expressed below as a percentage
of the total accommodation rental. Cancellation received before
departure: More than 56 days Deposit only, 56-43 days 30%, 42-29
days 50%, 28-15 days 75%, less than 14 days 100%.
5. If we cancel
your holiday
It is highly unlikely that we will have to cancel your holiday,
but in this unlikely event you will receive a full and quick refund
of all monies you have paid to us. Important note: Compensation
will not be payable if we are obliged by force majeure to change
or cancel your holiday. In these booking conditions, force majeure
means war, threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute,
terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, flood,
adverse weather conditions or any other circumstances beyond our
control. Please note that we cannot be held liable for loss of
main services such as electricity or water supplies, nor any actions
taken in the vicinity of your accommodation by any authority over
whom we have no control. Similarly, you should be aware that there
may be occasions when an advertised facility is either modified
or not available. Such situations may be dictated by local circumstances,
necessity for maintenance, unsuitable weather conditions and other
circumstances beyond our control. If we are advised of this, we
will endeavour to inform you in advance, but cannot be held liable
in such circumstances.
6. Insurance
We consider travel insurance to be essential and therefore recommend
that you take out comprehensive insurance cover prior to your
visit. Please read your policy details carefully. It is your responsibility
to ensure that you have adequate cover.
